Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Flatbush

Staff coped very well for a busy NY’s day - service was a little slower than usual but to be expected and every server was friendly, helpful and apologetic for the slight delay. Food and drinks were great as usual.

I called at 2:30am New Year’s Day for a 3 am reservation for a party of 5. THE AUDACITY!!! But the hostess was nothing less than incredible! The frozen lavender margarita was the best thing ever! I got a lobster mac n cheese to go while we enjoyed more than satisfying entrees. This spot definitely set the tone for the year.

We had a great dinner on a Sunday night two days before NYE. It was busy, but the staff was attentive and our food was delicious. The back portion of the restaurant had tables that were very close together, which felt crowded with trying to handle our coats and items we had carried with us in the city. It was also a bit loud but expected given how busy it was. Overall I highly recommend Casa DAngelo for authentic Italian food in Little Italy!

Yes, and yes. I'm by no means a food critic or influencer. As a matter of fact, I will say that trying this food has given my mouth a whole new level of happiness. We had the curry cauliflower in cashew sauce, along with the stir-fried vegetable platter, and they were both delicious. The creamy texture of the curry cauliflower and the way the flavors melted in my mouth were excellent. The staff was amazing and attentive. The dessert (Pecan chocolate chip) cookie was a hit for me with their Chai tea added to the experience. Great flavors and healthier for you. . .I will be back.
