Best Vegan Restaurants in Baldwin Hills

The Plot is a delicious innovative vegan restaurant. We went for brunch and the food was fantastic. We shared a toast flight which had something different on each slice. We had chocolate cherry scones which had a hint of rosemary. So delicious. I had a Korean chiken with rice and kale and my husband had chiken and waffles. Everything was so good. The service was outstanding. This was our 2nd visit. I am already looking forward to our next visit. They take reservations. The parking, however, is a challenge because there are numerous restaurants and shops.

An enjoyable dining experience of great food, atmosphere and service. I especially enjoy the separate vegan menu. I wish more restaurants would do this as it removes the hassle of a making a complicated order and wondering if the food you’re getting is truly vegan. And, the vegan options are fantastic - not some lazy, unimaginative dish that other restaurants offer.

It is always a wonderful experience overall. We ordered the truffle fettuccine this time, but unfortunately, the truffle didn't have as much flavor as we expected. This is not much of their fault, but maybe they could have used a little more truffle to compensate for the lack of flavor; the price wasn't an issue. The waiter was a little absent, but we usually have outstanding service. This is still my favorite place to dine, but this time the food wasn't 100%.

Chef Kursten stepped away from his busy kitchen to come greet our table, which was a nice touch. Carson our waiter was super funny and engaging in our conversation. Can’t wait to come back.

We had Alexa as a server and she went above and beyond! She was super sweet and answered any questions we had about the menu. From right when we got there, the host was super friendly and very professional, she was great! The table we got was right next to the fire place. This was a date night we had wanted to do for such a long time, Gracias Madre was incredible!! Thank you for such a lovely night!
