Food you grow up with is always better :) We've been there before and will be there again. - JJanelleNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024This was dinner with friends who are moving across the country, and the staff made everything lovely for us. The food was delicious and I especially liked the cocktail menu. The best time to come is Sunday afternoons to support live jazz with Rick Bogart on vocals and clarinet and Marc Daine on guitar. Not sure who is on double bass these days. It is a great crowd and Rick has a small group of guest singers that never disappoint. Tio Pepe’s has been around since 1970 & I hope it will be for many years to come. (Shout out to Claude Solliard for leadership that got us through the last few difficult years!)More infoTio Pepe NYCPrice: Moderate• Spanish• West Village•4
- BBruceNew Jersey •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 20, 2024One of the best dinner experiences I’ve had. A perfect evening of warm friendly service and delicious food. Decor is inviting too. A wonderful upscale dinner. I have been here before and I will be back again. Warm light flaky bread, house chips, Red sangria, stuffed shrimp, paella Marinera, a bonus after-dinner-shot on the house for our anniversary, tres leches cake with a hot cappuccino. Mmmm mmmm everything was so good and the outstanding personal service was deeply appreciated. You will not be disappointed going here for a drink, tapas or dinner.More infoSayola Restaurant Tapas BarPrice: Expensive• Traditional Spanish• Tenafly•4.6
- RRobertVIPGreater Boston •9 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Ernesto’s is a wonderful spot. Authentically both Basque and Lower East Side, it was truly soulful and differentiated in a too often homogenized world. Delicious and interesting food, an incredibly deep and educational Spanish wine list, and friendly, knowledgeable service to guide diners along the way. Very grateful to have dined here.More infoErnesto’sPrice: Expensive• Basque• Lower East Side•4.8
