- JJonathanVIPWashington, D.C. Area •19 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMole is the sort of place you seek out in Mexico: Small, run by people who love it, based on traditional family recipes and ways. And it is aptly named. Mole is the acid test for a Mexican restaurant because it is hard to get right and when it is, it's fantastic. So was the mole at Mole, a sauce apparently prepared in Mexico and flown in. Not the spiciest I've ever had, but complex in the way mole should be. Don't miss it.More infoMole West VillagePrice: Moderate• Mexican• West Village•4.4
- EEricNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Dont judge a book by its cover. Ambience of dive bar. Shockingly great food. I had fried chicken sandwich which was really good. Better than most "top 10" chicken sandwiches I've had from around town. Buddy had a burger that looked good and he said was great. Only complaint was we could of used more fries. I gave my friend the option to go somewhere else more upscale looking when we got there, but we both decided to try anyways based on reviews. We will go again for sure. We also went at 3.00p on a Friday so it was rather quiet and slow which was great to chat.More infoLa Diáspora Bar & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Chinatown•4.5
