Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table. Fabulous as always! The Green Papaya Salad & soups are magnificent favorites. As are the salmon and Pad Thai dishes. Remains our “go-to”in “the ‘hood” with friends and family and out-of-towners, and when it’s just the two of us. Can’t be beat for a truly delicious casual meal.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, very welcoming hosts! The overall experience couldn't have been better. Both all you can eat options (sushi and tempura) were absolutely delicious and without the usual limitations (time and quantity) provided by other restaurants of this type. Highly recommended!
