The restaurant offers a unique tapas-style menu, allowing us to try a variety of dishes, and each one was outstanding. The steak and lamb were cooked to perfection, but the real standout for me was their cavoletti—an exceptional Brussels sprouts dish bursting with flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch, making the evening even more enjoyable. While it’s a bit of a drive from the south shore, Plado is absolutely worth the trip for a special occasion or a memorable night out. I can't recommend it enough!More infoPlado - Glen Cove, NYPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Glen Cove•4.5

We ordered the Yakuniku special for 4--food was very tasty and a good value. I was happy to be able to choose from both Kirin and Sapporo beer on tap! (I prefer Kirin.) Smokeless Japanese grill setup is excellent. Decor could be nicer, but that's a quibble. Overall, great family night dinner experience.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - White Plains, NY | Main StreetPrice: Expensive• Japanese• White Plains•4.6
