With the chef’s background of having worked in Miami and Italian restaurants here, the menu has a delightful variety of Latin classics and fresh pasta. Our table ordered all of the above and every detail was extremely well crafted. I had the churrasco which was cooked to perfection. Staff is super friendly and hospitable. La Perla treats their guests like they’re welcoming friends into their home. Do not skip it!More infoLa Perla ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Lake View•4.5

We had a dietary restriction due to religion, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He was also extremely kind and we just appreciated him so so much. Grey truly make us feel welcomed and we will be coming back for the excellent food and the wonderful service.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Chicago, IL | LakeviewPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Lakeview / East Lakeview•4.6
- JJackChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoA Thanksgiving Feast to Remember at Gyu-Kaku! My daughter and I decided to switch things up this Thanksgiving and embark on a foodie adventure, and Gyu-Kaku turned out to be the perfect choice for our dinner. We shared the two-person Meat Lovers meal, and it was an absolute feast! The variety and quality of the meats were incredible. Each cut was tender, flavorful, and fun to grill right at our table. The meal included generous portions of beef short rib, skirt steak, pork belly, and chicken, all beautifully marinated with their signature sauces. The dipping sauces added even more layers of flavor, and we couldn’t decide which was our favorite! The sides complemented the meal perfectly—delicious rice, fresh veggies, and those umami-packed Gyu-Kaku salads were delightful additions. The ambiance was lively yet cozy, making it a fun and interactive dining experience for us both. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive service. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and took the time to explain the grilling process, which added to the overall experience. For Thanksgiving, this was such a unique and memorable way to celebrate. Gyu-Kaku is perfect for foodies, families, or anyone who enjoys interactive dining and high-quality food. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Chicago, IL | West Loop (Union Park)Price: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown / Loop•4.7
