Best Sushi Restaurants in Kamuela

We love Roy’s and go on every visit to the Big Island. We have food allergies and have found that Roy’s will make accommodations that we need. Their new menu has gluten free items clearly marked. Our server was knowledgeable and took great care of us. He went back to the kitchen and checked on any questions we had. I had the snapper and shrimp with rice instead of polenta. It was excellent. My husband always has the butterfish. Several in our party had the chocolate soufflé for dessert, but I had guava sorbet since I’m also dairy free. We had a great meal, with great service.

Had some sushi rolls and the hamachi nigiri. The rolls were fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. Hamachi was melt in your mouth. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

I was there to celebrate my Birthday with my son and everything was wonderful even though we were in the clubhouse bar area which kind of took away the feel of being in Japan everything else was great and will not deter me from going back again!!

We had sushi which was excellent. They have a more limited but everything we had was delicious. We had a white Spanish alberino wine and Malasada for dessert. Our server was excellent and very personable
