The onion rings were perfect, as always. Steaks were delicious. - JJeffreyvipPortland / Oregon •61 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went to Wilf's after a long absence and was delighted to find it just as wonderful as I remembered. Although there are newer items on the menu, all of my old favorites were there. We had the French onion soup, rich and spectacular, and the Caesar salad. Prepared table side, the Wilf's version has my vote as the best Caesar in Portland, particularly if you like them garlicky (which I do). For entrees, I had the prime rib, and my friend had the Steak Diane, the latter also prepared table side. Both were perfect. (Check out the You Tube video for how to make Wilf's Steak Diane; it tided me over during the pandemic.) As always, the service was excellent; friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Located in the old Union Train Stations, Wilf's restaurant is beautiful and spacious. We sat in the dining room, but it is all really one large room. We could hear the live jazz music playing in the bar area but it was still quiet enough to have a good conversation. All in all, delightful.More infoWilfs Restaurant & Jazz BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Pearl District•4.8
