- SSueLondon •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLovely! This long-established restaurant always meets hopes and expectations. Friendly efficient staff, steaks cooked as requested, lovely ambience --- and boyfriend took me there first in the middle 1970s I think (or early 80s? Thinks it was 70s).The standard has been maintained through every visit AND we have lovely music if we pick our timing right tooMore infoThe ArchdukePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Waterloo•4.5
- RRodrigoLondon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food at Hawksmoor was divine! We ordered the chateaubriand, and the meat was cooked to perfection with a sensational crust and fantastic tenderness! The sides were also excellent, spinach and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. We finished with a Sticky Toffee dessert, which was phenomenal! And, most importantly, we received super friendly service from Juliana! A 10/10 experience in a fantastic location in London, right next to Borough MarketMore infoHawksmoor BoroughPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• London Bridge•4.6

- PPreciousLondon •8 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 28, 2025Really good food and affordable prices. It was a special occasion, so I wish the staff were a bit more attentive and took care with our orders. Our waitress seemed a bit impatient as some of our party hadn’t quite decided what they wanted from the set menu. When we did order, one of our orders were forgotten, so we had to wait a bit so that we could eat together. Perhaps our waitress was having a bit of a hard day as it did get busy at the time of our visit. It’s a shame as we’d been to Bordelaise a few times before and always enjoyed it.More infoBordelaisePrice: Moderate• French• Tooting•4.6
- AAnuLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 25, 2025I have driven past this place several times and week and every time I do, I think I must go in. From outside looking in, it looks really attractive and sophisticated. Upon stepping inside, I was really impressed, the decor is stunning. It looks more like somewhere you would see in Central London, it is quite big inside and what is really nice is that the tables are nicely spaced apart so that you do not really hear other people's conversation or have to squeeze in between tables. I had the soup of the day for starter, it was piping hot, absolutely delicious and a really big bowl. It could have been a meal in itself! For main course I had the knuckle of lamb with some sides, it was a shame that the lamb was a little overcooked. Just a minute or too less cooking and it would have been amazing, however the jus was so delicious that it made up for the outside of the lamb being a bit dry. The vegetables were cooked to perfection with a light coating of olive oil and garlic. The fries were crispy outside and soft inside, really yummy. I would definitely go there again. It would be a great place to go with a big party of friends. The bar is stunning too. I would definitely recommend this place and would say it is one of the best restaurants in Bromley.More infoAzaayaPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Chislehurst•4.3
