Best Steakhouses in Littleton

My fiancee and I dined here last evening for a special occasion and we were floored by how amazing everything was! Our waiter Ernesto was wonderful, patient and so kind and assertive, and all staff who delivered food and helped us out with drinks were amazing. We had the NY sirloin and petit filet, sides were done to perfection as well. Food was perfect, and we complimented the meal with nice red wine (try the pinot noir from Oregon) and the cheesecake and espresso desserts topped off the evening as if we weren't full enough! It's a standout establishment in DTC and we will be back! We had a mindful experience without photos of the food but I did capture the ambiance, so perfect for the holidays and end of the year to go out and be taken care of in this way. Truly spectacular, as always. I’ve been to Frisco, Ruth Chris’, Flemmings, and non chain steakhouses and 801 is superior in every way, from the service (complimentary valet and coat check), pacing, friendly formality, and most of all the salads, steaks, and desserts. (For seafood, stick to the lobster or pan roast). Full bar is excellent- order whatever you want, not just what’s listed on the menu. My only criticism is that I much prefer booths, and lots of the restaurant is tables. Don’t be afraid to order the “cheap” steaks- they are the best I’ve ever had (I prefer the strip).

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism, but it was Chris, the hostess, who truly made our evening unforgettable. Chris’s hospitality and knowledge were exceptional. She greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel like valued guests from the very start. Throughout the evening, she checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and offered thoughtful recommendations that made our meal even more special. Her suggestion of the Chilean Sea Bass was spot on—it was tender, flaky, and full of flavor, truly one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. While our server, Stacie, was attentive and efficient, it was Chris’s expertise and personal care that truly elevated our experience. She made sure that every detail of our anniversary celebration was perfect, offering a level of service that felt both professional and personal. Whether it was offering wine pairing to her amazing cocktail suggestions, or making us feel like we were the most important people in the room, Chris’s warm, thoughtful hospitality was a true highlight of the evening. We’ve been here several times for their delicious pork chop, which was as flavorful and tender as always. However, this visit wasn’t quite as perfect as usual. My daughter ordered a hamburger cooked to medium, but it was served very well done. While she said the flavor was good, it was noticeably dry and overcooked. Additionally, our server didn’t check in to see how everything was, though we understand it was a busy hour. Despite these small disappointments, we still enjoy the ambiance, the usually great service, and, of course, the best tasting pork chop around, so we’ll definitely be back.

This was our third year as a family celebrating Christmas at Del Frisco’s. Everything was top notch and every staff member beginning from the moment you walked up to the entrance with the valet men all the way to the very last contact inside the dining room was extremely pleasant!
