Best Steakhouses in Fortville

Everyone, from the time my guest and I entered the restaurant was very attentive. We started at the bar where the bartender was very friendly and offered a few suggestions which were all delicious and satisfying. We were then escorted to our table and the waiter was there waiting to explain the menu and choices since this was everyone’s first time. Long story short… the food and service was excellent. We were all very pleased with the entire experience. Terra Gaucha made our Galentines Day special! My friends and I have been raving about the night all day. Hands down the best food I’ve had in a long time.

My partner in crime and I decided to celebrate V-Day in style, but I made the rookie mistake of underestimating just how popular this place is. I mean, who needs a month's notice to book a table, right? Wrong! By the time I got around to making a reservation, the only time slot available was 11:00 PM. Yes, you read that right – 11:00 PM! But then, like a Valentine's Day miracle, amazing Helen from the reservation team reached out to me with some incredible news: she'd managed to snag an earlier time slot for us at 9:30 PM! I mean, talk about a Valentine's Day hero! Now, onto the good stuff: the ambiance, the drinks, and the service. Let me tell you, 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo delivers on all fronts! Ambiance: 5/5 (swanky, sophisticated, and romantic – what more could you ask for?) Drinks: 5/5 (craft cocktails that will make your taste buds do the tango) Service: 5/5 (Helen, you're the real MVP – thanks for saving our Valentine's Day!) Overall, I'd give 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo a solid 5/5 stars. It's the perfect spot to impress your significant other, celebrate a special occasion, or just treat yourself to a fancy night out. Wonderful meal and Alberto took great care of us! The lovely live music in the background only added to our experience. Both of our meals were outstanding and the team did a great job of spacing the courses. We will definitely return to Hyde Park

Food, drinks and service were excellent. I said 4 stars for value because it was pricey to add steak to my salad and I just got 2 little bits of steak. I thought for the price, it should have been more. A large cut, properly cooked and sliced and placed on the salad would have been a better value and experience to eat. Everything else was good!

We had a lovely time at Sullivans for our early dinner! Our server Stephanie was prompt at getting our waters filled and checking up on us during our visit. For appetizers we got Calamari and the Cheesesteak egg rolls and both were fabulous, but we would probably lean toward the egg rolls if we visit again! We did the Sure Thing meals and we got Wedge Salad, the Shrimp and Lobster Bisque, upgraded our entrees to the 16ounce ribeyes with the mashed potatoes and for desserts we got the Cheesecake and Bread Pudding! Truly everything was just phenomenal and we would 100% order everything we got again for another special occasion. My ONLY semi-complaint is that my bread pudding was cold, which I have never had before. Whenever I get bread pudding it is always piping hot and the ice cream and caramel melts so well into it, but the one from here was cold, not even warm. I ended up bringing half of it home and just plan to reheat because I was super full from the meal anyway. . Exceptional experience for our first visit to Sullivans!
