Best Steakhouses in Greenwood

There were 8 of us seated after the Nutcracker. We had our choice of the dining room or the bar. We chose a high topper in the bar. To put it simply service was excellent from the minute we were greeted at the door to taking our leave. The food was exceptional with a large and varied menu that provided everyone with what they wanted. Ordering came down to trying for as wide a selection as possible which was easy. My food recommendation - get anything that looks interesting to you. We will definitely come back to enjoy again.

My son and I went here on Christmas Eve night to celebrate my upcoming birthday on Christmas day. Micheal was our sever, and he was attentive from the moment we sat down. In fact, the entire staff was! The moment we walked in and said we had a reservation, we were treated special. The atmosphere was amazing. The found was outstanding. I recommend the ribeye cooked to perfection "blue" as I like it. The sauce for the barbecue prawns was so good! I had to request more bread for my son to clean the bowl. It was that good! He had no complaints about his king salmon. One of the gentlemen there saw that my son was wearing cream and white, and he came to tell my son to be careful with the sauce because it stains. Low and behold, my son had a spot on his shift, so the gentlemen immediately returned with soda water, and the spot came right out. He wanted to help my son because he said he ruined one of his shirts due to the sauce staining it. I will be back when I'm in town. I highly recommend this restaurant! This dining experience was novel and a joy. The chef combined flavors creating tastes we had never had before. Sometimes it was a bit overwhelming (like the garlic on the Chinese broccoli), but we were glad we had ordered it and after pushing the garlic aside, ate every bite. Try the octopus -- absolutely delicious and not at all like the typical calamari you get in local restaurants. Our server was very cordial, had a great sense of humor, and increased our enjoyment.

The Rodizio was rapid fire with selections coming just about every minute. Drinks were slower arriving, and a good experience overall.

I was very pleased with everything at Stanford’s. From the comfortable atmosphere to the attentive wait staff to the excellent food. I would certainly recommend this establishment. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were probably some of the best I’ve ever had! The side salad was delicious and included a lot of veggies, bacon, egg, and croutons. We had the Italian chicken with artichokes capers, and dry tomatoes. Definitely pallet pleasing.
