- JJasmineVIPAtlanta •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWalking into The Ruxton feels like stepping into a world of pure opulence. From the warm lighting to the tasteful décor, everything about the atmosphere left me in awe. I also appreciated the music selection, which was refreshingly diverse—and I loved the unexpected twist of hearing some Christian rap in the playlist. Our server, Jordyn, elevated the experience with excellent service and thoughtful recommendations. The Wagyu steak, paired with its rich sauce, was simply outstanding, and the Wagyu sliders did not disappoint either. One of the highlights was the salad, featuring bacon so flavorful it might be the best I’ve ever had. The lobster mac and cheese was solid—maybe not quite at the level of my grandmother’s Southern-style recipe, but still satisfying in its own right. Overall, everything—from the ambiance to the attentive service—made for a wonderful lunch date. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience with top-quality dishes and a welcoming vibe, The Ruxton should be at the top of your list.More infoThe RuxtonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Harbor East•4.8
- MMarcellWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was Valentine’s Day so we knew it would be crowded and loud. So we were cool with that. However the food was not up to its usual standards. The lamb chops were under cooked and the sides were luke warm. We didn’t want to send it back but it was just too much going on and we didn’t want to wait too much longer. We love Maestro’s but will probably NEVER go on Valentine’s Day again.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - DCPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Penn Quarter•4.6
- GGretchenWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI chose to try this restaurant because its concept reminded me of a restaurant I'd had lunch in over 40 years ago in Paris. The menu was simple and straightforward, just like the restaurant I'd remembered. I took a risk and booked it for Valentine's Day - waited so long I had to take a 6:15 pm sitting. Both my partner and I loved it! We were seated immediately, and even though the restaurant was packed, we didn't feel crowded or intruded upon. The service was fast and the server was cordial and attentive. Rustic bread with amazing butter: delicious Salad prepared the French way with dressing already judiciously added: delicious Steak/frites that were impeccably cooked and hot off the grill/fryer: DELICIOUS! We were surprised to find out we got a second helping of the steak/frites! This made so much sense because why get a huge serving when half of it will be cold by the time we eat it? Instead, both servings were hot and delicious. We opted for sauce on the side, which suited our preference for adding it according to our individual tastes. Although the desserts looked very enticing, we passed this time. But maybe next time I'll take something home! All in all, this was a wonderful experience. As my partner said, "10 out of 10." Thank you!More infoMedium Rare - Columbia, MDPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Columbia•4.4
