Best Steak Restaurants in Surprise

Phenomenal service by our waiter, Chris! We celebrated my husband’s birthday last night and we were blown away. I was apprehensive about J&G because we have never heard of the place. Our go-to favorites were booked - Maple & Ash, Bourbon Steak, Toca Madera… J&G will be added to our list of favorites in Scottsdale. We had the most amazing table, right on the glass overlooking the sunset and then the city lights. The bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection. I loved the grass fed filet. The crab cake appetizer was delicious. Bourbon selection was next level! After dinner we headed down to the thirsty cactus where the bartenders were amazing and hung out by the outdoor fire pits. 5 stars all day! We will be back soon!

Another great evening at Mastros. Mike, the GM, does a great job taking care of his team and the guests. He has elevated the quality and service of this location. Phil is a great addition to the management team at Mastros North Scottsdale. He is sharp, kind and committed to providing great service. Rayquan was a wonderful server. He took great care of us, was authentic and wanted to be sure that we had a phenomenal experience. We love sitting in the bar area. The music is always great and the energy awesome. The chopped salad is always plentiful and delicious. The porterhouse steak on the hot sizzling plate is a show stopper. We accompanied that with asparagus and Mac and cheese. PERFECTION! Don’t leave without trying the butter cake. Best in town!

The food is top-notch, cannot be beat. The restaurant is very dark so we had to use flashlights on our phone to read the menu. I also feel like they should tell you that the bread at your table costs extra. Also be aware that they give American size portions so they are enormous. The value is very good for what you’re getting. You could easily split the brussels sprouts side dish between 4 Canadians.

We were a party of Seven and the Service by Hattie was unsurpassed. The salads were very good and very large. One order of Prime Rib was tuff so they took it away and were back very quickly with an entire new plate of food and new cut of Prime Rib and the manager checked on us. They gave us two pieces of their ice cream pie for my Birthday. Will definitely go again.

Fleming's never disappoints! Went for our anniversary on Tomahawk Tuesday and it was amazing and the service was fantastic as usual!
