Serving the finest in Steaks, Prime Rib & Seafood for over 60 years. Our founders Jerry and Lee Woods opened Sutter's Mill in 1958 on the corner of Foothill and Sayre in Sylmar. Sutter's Mill moved to Mission Hills in 1960.Over the next 20 years two more restaurants and a night club were added. In 2007 the founders son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Salli, opened our current location in Simi Valley. While Joe and Salli are still active, day to day operations are run by their daughter-in-law, Marie Robinson.     An early Valentines dinner for two on a Wednesday. We timed it right where it wasn't busy at all and we got a ton of attention from great servers and great waiters!! Good drinks and great food. From ambiance to experience, we had an unforgettable night. Whole experience with a few drinks took about 2.5 hours. But we were taking our time, enjoying our self and we did not feel rushed. Would recommend. Shoutout to our waitress, Devin and our Gaucho server Miguel!

    We really enjoyed  the live music and wish they had it more often than the first Friday of the month. We sat on the patio, which was nice however, the row of seats up against the building have lights above. That would be nice if they could dim them because we felt we were under an interrogation light. It was too bright for the atmosphere. Other than that. Everything was great. The my ties are wonderful and I got the beer, battered fish tacos, which I can always only eat one. They’re so huge but it’s fun to have them for leftovers. My husband had the piccata, but it was a little lemony.
