Best Steak Restaurants in Sarasota

We ordered from the early dining menu...salmon. It was very good...almost too much to eat. Our cocktails were very great...pricey but we were aware of the cost. Our server, Josh, (co-server, Max) was excellent. He was very friendly, as well as helpful!

Very cozy place. Welcoming and great options to choose from. Nice bar. We had Colton as our waiter and couldn’t be happier with the service. He was very friendly and knew the menu very well. He made our first time experience very enjoyable as we celebrated our Anniversary. The filet was outstanding. And the pasta was delicious. I’d love to see more cocktail options in the future. I totally recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Our party of four had an unbelievable experience. The Server, Adam Pratt, was outstanding. He was extremely passionate about his job and provided insight into all Menu items. His interactions were impeccable, providing superior service while also being very interactive and professional. The food was outstanding. Lobster Bisque - Easily the best my Wife and I have ever had. Its creaminess and flavor were beyond reproach. Nigiri (Salmon Belly), Ahi Tuna, and Crab Cocktail - All phenomenal. The crab was super succulent. Wagyu Filet, Wagyu Manhattan, 8oz Filet - These were all "melt" in your mouth and cooked to perfection. The scallop entree was also very good. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto was very good, and the presentation was outstanding. Truffl;e Mac & Cheese was some of the best I have ever tasted. The asparagus is easily the Most Tender asparagus I have ever eaten. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. We finished with the 10-layer Carrot Cake - This was wonderful and the Pineapple sauce was an unbelievable compliment to the moistness of the cake. The cream cheese icing which usually overdoes the cake was the perfect compliment. Our only complaint was the Carrot Cake only had 9 layers. We showed Adam and had some lighthearted fun with it at the table. Thank you Oceans Prime Sarasota for such a memorable and delightful dining experience.

Our server must of have had too many tables. We did not receive the exceptional service that we have experienced in the past. The food as always was exceptional, worth every penny spent on the marvelous steak. The piano music was so loud that we could not have conversation at the table. I realize that it is Christmas party season so that accounts for a bit of noise in the restaurant. We will be back again after the holiday season when we know that service will be back to the exceptional standard of Micheals on East

The crab cakes were packed with crab and the sauce that’s accompanied was tasty. Wedge salad was fresh, filets were cooked exactly as ordered ( med & med well) so tender and melt in your mouth texture. Dessert was a beautifully presented carrot cake which was so moist but not so much it fell apart. Just the right amount of cinnamon and nutmeg. Alex our waiter was friendly, attentive and made this Birthday dinner one of the best!
