    It was our first time and it did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food arrived promptly. I had beef and it was amazing! The filled Yorkshire pudding was an unexpected crowd pleaser on our table! We’ve already booked a table for next week and I’ll be happy to work my way through the deserts menu!

    Our first time was a delightful experience, was pretty quiet but we were there at 2pm on a Thursday, I can imagine it gets busy in the evenings and at weekend, fabulous food, attentive waiters, knowledgeable. We will return

    Everything from arriving for pre dinner drinks to the meal was absolutely superb. Bar area and restaurant are well furnished and immaculate. Staff are friendly without being overbearing. Simple, uncluttered tables, with a modern feel. The food was beautiful. We both had different starters, mains and desserts, and we couldn’t fault any of it. We did find it quite expensive, but the quality of the food was among the best we’ve had anywhere. It would be nice to see perhaps a set/fixed price menu for hotel guests, particularly mid week.
