Best Steak Restaurants in Near North

Celebrating new year’s dinner here. The menu selection was awesome. The staff and hostess were professional and friendly. Got a couple cocktails and were very good. Ordered the Mediterranean Octopus for a starter. It was fresh and delicious with a tad bit spicy. Had a 10oz Creekstone steak which is halal steak that they have. It was cooked as requested. Absolutely delicious. The siide dishes of roasted brussel sprouts however was salty, same as the frites. Somehow they were a little too salty. Also ordered japanese sweet potatoes which absolutely great and flavorful. Finished off with the expresso cream brulè and it was an indulgence. RPM Steak is great upscale dining for special occasions.

Outstanding and delicious food, from oyster appetizer, crab bisque (our 9 year old son had 3 cups!), John Dory fish, beef Wellington, ahi tuna, key lime pie and coconut cream pie!!! Our server was AMAZING, explained everything clearly and answered all questions. The whole staff are very welcoming and attentive! Espresso martini was perfection!

Fabulous all around - cocktails, toasted ravioli appetizer, chicken Marsala, chicken Parmesan and crème brûlée. Our server Lupe was very attentive and friendly. Look forward to another visit in the future.

Steakhouses in Chicago are a dime a dozen which makes it hard to choose one over the other. Mastro’s has never disappointed. They check all the boxes and do so to be among the top 5 in my book. Thanks to the crew there for helping my family get out the door quickly for a play last night!

The entire experience was wonderful. The steak and chips were made to perfection. The sides are generous for sharing. Our server Grace was attentive and knew the menu beautifully. Her descriptions of the Chop House offerings were like listening to gastronomy poetry. The bar staff was kind enough to shake up a cocktail request that was not on the menu. Victor had made sure our experience was at the level that the management strives to deliver, which they did. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve memory.
