Gaucho Hampstead gave us an incredible evening! The food was delicious, and the service was spot-on—friendly and attentive throughout. Would recommend to meat lovers who like the raw low key fun experience. Great venue with great atmosphere - good music, good attentive service, good drinks, great food for meat lovers. Environment - Low key, loud, smokey, bustling restaurant. Expect an assult on your sense in this purposely low-lit basement smokehouse - providing focus on flaming centrally placed kitchen and the chefs preparing the meat over the flaming BBQ's and grills. Be prepared to share meat cuts as they don't have many cuts under 500g..as they say "when they're gone, they're gone"

We ordered the croquets and the cod goujon. Both were lovely, although the goujon was very flat which made it a little dry. Half of us order steak, cooked to three different levels, mine was blue, and warm which was great, the others were rare and medium-rare, all cooked perfectly. The burgers that my fiends has looked great and apparently they tasted really good. The wine was nice and the bill was reasonable for five people, several bottles of wine, coming in around £60 per head. Happily recommend this place.
