Best Steak Restaurants in International District

Great views, wonderful service and food was outstanding. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and they had confetti on table and a signed bday card for him! Brought him out a slice of the most amazing cake with a candle. Made the whole experience really great.

Palisade is our go-to place for special occasions for our family and friends. Our besties just happen to have been married on Valentine’s Day so of course we came here for their Valentine’s Day special. The service was outstanding as always…our server treated us like old friends, and every employee we ran into acknowledged us. The food was excellent as always; started out with calamari as we usually do, which is as good as anywhere. The filet(s) were cooked perfectly, the slab of prime rib was enough for two people. The prawns were tasty but just a little tough and hard to get the tail off, but that’s the only criticism I can make of the whole meal. Everything was served hot, it was evident that nothing sat around before being delivered to our table. We’re already planning our next visit.

Our Valentine Day dinner experience was excellent. The rib eye steak and the roasted chicken tasted wonderful. Our server, Christoper, was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and efficient. We'll be back for sure!!

First of all, excellent service from the ENTIRE staff. From the host, to the servers & waitstaff, everyone was attentive and friendly. One of the servers even offered to take a photo of my partner and I. Our drinks and appetizers came out quickly. The crab stuffed mushrooms are AMAZING. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. The cheesecake for dessert was delicious. We will be back! Thank you Seattle Ruth’s Chris staff for the best Valentine’s Day dinner.

I had family here from California, and we arranged to meet at this restaurant, which I had been to once previously. I remembered that it was good, and also that it was near Seattle Center, and I had a hunch these two would want to poke around over there once our meal was done, so it was a perfect location. The service was warm and friendly, but never intrusive, and the food was divine. I ordered the "sweet stuff" French toast with caramel and strawberries; nobody else makes it like this, and it was mouthwatering! I also ordered (to go) some "soft scramble" eggs with asparagus and Dungeness crab. It's so hard to get real, fresh crab anymore, what with the overfishing, but my eggs had actual leg segments of crab in them, a perfect ratio of filling to egg. The eggs came with their amazing potatoes, and my husband and I had that dish, along with a small amount of leftovers from my French Toast, for dinner that night. This may be my favorite Seattle restaurant right now! The cherry on the sundae, so to speak, was that when we were finished, we sat and chatted and nobody seemed anxious to kick us out of our booth. Oh hell yes.
