Best Steak Restaurants in Clintonville

Service was outstanding. Steaks were great. Sea Bass was outstanding. I was disappointed in the Waygu steak. I have had Waygu in a New York restaurant and this was not even close. Everything else was wonderful.

Our dining experience was definitely one to remember! From our initial greeting by the manager ,the excellent service by Michelle and the perfectly cooked entrees to the farewell by the parking valets, it was an exceptional occasion. We were celebrating our anniversary. When we got to our table, there was an anniversary card greeting and confetti on the table. The wait staff was knowledgeable and so helpful, we knew we could relax and enjoy ourselves! We will look forward to returning…..keep up the great service!

Our server, Beth, was very gracious, efficient and accommodating to our needs and desires. We started with calamari, which was light and crisp, served with a teriyaki-type sauce that was good. The tentacles were not rubbery as most places usually are. The Mister ordered the Shanghai Sampler, which included scallops, shrimp and salmon on top of a sticky rice and a ponzu sauce decorated with spinach and green onions. It was a healthy portion that he took home leftovers where was just as delicious as the initial consumption. I ordered the Shrimp and Crab cake dinner with mashed potatoes and corn maque choux. The mashed potatoes were a bit regular, a bit stiff, and the grilled shrimp was not as flavorful as I'd hoped. They have an excellent fish and chips dinner on a regular day. The tartar sauce is excellent. It was included to my dish, and I tasted it just because I knew it was good, but didn't need it with my crab cake nor shrimp. Overall, the Christmas pre-fixe dinner was very good.

Our experience at J Liu is always excellent; J Liu offers a variety of foods, including options for children. Unlike many restaurants that attempt many different types of food, J Liu has mastered all that they offer. Their East Asian options are flavorful and reasonably priced, and their fine dining entrees are top quality. Their waitstaff are attentive and knowledgeable. I recommend both of their locations, in Worthington and Dublin.

Our waiter Jayden was very helpful and personable in picking out our food from the menu. The house Merlot was delicious. We loved the split of the wedge salad.Our steaks were well prepared and tasted so amazing. I had the steak Nicklaus and the portion was perfect. We split the potato gratin, Brussels sprouts with bacon jam and 5 cheese Mac and cheese. The chocolate torte was the best way to end our meal. Wonderful experience and so welcoming.
