Best Steak Restaurants in Underwood Hills

Ruth’s Chris Downtown Atlanta service was extremely professional, knowledgeable and informative as well as very attentive, our server made sure we had everything we needed and asked multiple times if there was anything he could get for us. He even packed our to go plates. I’m assuming the General Manager or Lead even came to our table to ask how our food and experience was. Truly a great experience from a service standpoint. The food was absolutely incredible. My girlfriend ordered the double breast stuffed chicken with au gratin potatoes, while I ordered a NY Strip steak along with a lobster mac n cheese. The food did not take long to come out considering it seemed pretty busy. The sides were big enough for both of us to share and have leftovers! Great wine and cocktail selection! Do not let the prices deter you from coming here it was completely worth it and I will be gladly returning. Truly a 10/10 restaurant experience from start to finish!

This was our first experience with Bones. We opted to dine here after spending a family day in the city. To start, we appreciated the private room, the atmosphere and the outstanding service. The food was excellent, served simultaneously and was all just as ordered. To take the experience to the next level, our server was extremely kind to our son and brought a special treat to the table for him. Highly recommend dining at Bones…the menu is terrific, we really enjoyed our experience, and we will go back.

We arrived approximately 10 minutes early for our 6 o'clock reservation. We were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. Our excellent serve staff were Imari and Larry. They both greeted us with "Happy 38th Anniversary," and said, "Welcome to Chops." We ordered Calamari as our appetizer, and our entree selections were, the NY strip and Lamb Chops, with Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Mushrooms. Our food was prepared to our desired taste. Imari and Larry continued to check on us, and they were, by far, our absolute best serve staff of 2024. Please pass our thanks to both Imari and Larry for their excellent service. Greg and Benita

We had a wonderful waitress who was super attentive and made sure we had a great first time experience. The food was good. We went for the Steak Night special they had. I ordered a 14 oz NY Strip medium with a side of Mac and Cheese. I added on Asparagus. The food was seasoned well and wasn’t too overpowering. I really loved the Apple Pie for dessert. We decided on the Cabernet bottle for dinner and it was Bonanza. It was a semi spicy cherry wine and paired well with my steak. Overall, we will be returning when I arrive back in town. They did validate for 2 hours free parking in the parking deck behind the restaurant.

Though there are other more well known restaurants in Atlanta, Hal's is my favorite! The food is always excellent and the service is great! Even though I am only in Atlanta every couple of months, Kevin, my favorite waiter, remembers my drink order as well as my favorite foods. It's amazing! My husband usually has the sea bass but has also had a wonderful steak or two there. I haven't found any place that makes as good a chocolate martini! See you on my next trip to the big Apple!
