Another excellent meal in Polanco. Recommended by friends, we were looking forward to our reservation on a Friday night. We were expected and sat immediately. Mescalitas flowed freely. They didn’t have an English menu but provided a QR code that linked to one. Very friendly staff, excellent pairing of wine with food, and the second off the planet suckling pig I had eaten that week. The better half ordered the Iberian pork rib and it too was superb, falling off the bone. One slight negative was a street urchin not desisting over the garden hedge but our waiter made short work of him, allowing our night to continue beautifully. Highly recommend this place - ask for Antonio Lastra. Excellent service and a good sense of humour.

This place is superb. We were a little worried about language barrier at first and our appetisers were 50% right, but we quickly pulled out the trusty iPhone and were able to communicate freely with our waiter. Every dish was excellent, wine was good and so were the margaritas. The grilled octopus and the suckling pig were off the planet. The only negative was people smoking at at least two tables. Excellent restaurant.
