- LLindaMemphis / West Tennessee •63 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI went there today (Wednesday) for the express purpose of enjoying the Daily Special: Short Ribs. One of my favs at Char. As always, delicious and enough beef to carry some home. I had to have my favorite dessert there….pecan pie. Large piece served warm with vanilla ice cream. Perfect lunch coupled with good service. My friend also ordered the Short Ribs….her first time to have this dish, and she was pleased.More infoChar - MemphisPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Memphis•4.7

The food is amazing, service is topnotch and super friendly and ambiance is second to none. I recommend McEwen’s for date night, casual dinner or family holiday dinner like we did last night. - TTyGreater Boston •17 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025A fantastic venue, as always. We ate dinner, and the highlight was the chicken and waffles. The music was high-energy and fun, and Memphis Jones did a grand tour of blues, soul, and Memphis history themes. Entertaining, upbeat, and fun with some great food. Wonderful night out.More infoB.B. - JJanisMemphis / West Tennessee •24 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 16, 2024Two of us dined after a basketball game at FedExForum. The restaurant was not busy at 8:30 pm, and our server, Rae, promptly took our drink orders. I had a perfectly made Tito's and tonic. My cousin has a pot of Earl Grey tea. We shared the Ballers Brisket Sliders and the 901 Potato Skins. Both were very good. The sliders were sweet and smokey, served with BBQ sauce and fried onion rings on soft buns and a side of dill pickles, the French fries had a Cajun spice. The potato skins had a nice layer of potato with bacon, cheddar cheese, and scallions, served on a bed of lettuce with sour cream. We also ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta to-go for my cousin's son, who reported it was delicious! We look forward to returning many times during the basketball season. Our server, Rae, was attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely ask for her on our next visit!More infoCourtside GrillPrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•2.9
