- CChristianHouston •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything was excellent! Paola, our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We took all her recommendations and loved them. The LA bbq seafood was so flavorful. We met one of the owners, Danny and he gave us more background on the inspiration and culture behind the restaurant. I love their focus on giving back to the community and using local foods. Will definitely be back.More infoLate AugustPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown•4.7

- JJojoLos Angeles •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food here is AMAZING! Everything was full of flavor and the portions were large. I was looking for a soul food spot and came across Kulture. The area is prime real estate and the ambiance was well put together. We ordered the gumbo and collared greens for appetizers. We ordered a large gumbo assuming this would be a small bowl like most restaurants do it but I was surprised. It came in a very large bowl that was enough to feed 4 people as an appetizer and 2 people for 2 full meals. Not only was the portion great but it tasted amazing! Not like any gumbo roo I’ve had before. The collard greens came out as boudin balls which were fried with a sauce on the side, we expected regular greens in a bowl but these were an amazing take on greens. It was crunchy on the outside , nice , soft and juicy inside.. the sauce provided wasn’t needed but 100% elevated the dish. The price point for both seems pricey but the food is portioned really well so it’s worth it. For the entrees we had the fried fish and grits with crab and lobster on top & the lambchops. The fried fish had to be our favorite dish, it was enough for 2 to share and the flavors were all there. The gravy on top was perfect and the crab added a well thought out sweetness element to the dish. The lambchops were also amazing with the chimchurri they provided.. even though the dish was good, we felt like everything else we had out performed the lambchops. This was one of the best soul food restaurants I’ve ever been too and I hope everyone can share the same experience. 10/10More infoKulture RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•4.6
