- TThomasDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined todayThe toasted marshmallow expresso martini alone could have me coming back for years. Don’t let them confuse you different liquors (vodka, courvoisier, tequila), all of which are up charges. Just order it as normal, made with cognac. It is amazing. That damn drink will change your life. I’m usually not impressed with fried chicken, but theirs is really deserving of praise. A little spicy, not too salty…perfect. Only complaint? I hate when restaurants (I’m not picking on K+K only!) make you buy sides at a premium. Man, just include a side with a meal. Don’t make me buy a family-sized mashed potatoes for $11 when I’m already paying 20 bucks for two pieces of fried chicken. Right? That’s crazy. All in all, really great place. And awesome to go to before a show next door at the Majestic (get reservations on show nights!).More infoKitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley - DallasPrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown•4.5
- JJoshuaDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoHad an interesting experience on New Year’s Eve to say the least, but they went above and beyond to make it right and I will say some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, especially brunch. The staff is 5 star, I would highly recommend!!!! More infoFixe- Fort WorthPrice: Expensive• Southern• Fort Worth Cultural District & TCU•4.6
- RReginaldVIPHouston •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI took my girlfriend here for her birthday and was recommended this restaurant. First, I will start out with the drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule and my gf ordered the eggnog martini and followed up with an expresso martini. The Moscow mule was ehh and my gf didn’t enjoy her eggnog martini (I liked it lol). The expresso martini was a step up from the eggnog martini for her, but where the drinks left a void, the food easily filled it. For appetizers, she ordered the deviled eggs and I order the smoked salmon. Both of the starters were so good. I really could have just ordered the salmon and been happy lol. For entrees, I ordered the YB Nashville Hot Chicken with Brussels at the side and she ordered the fresh catch of the day, which were crab cakes, with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. She absolutely loved the crab cakes and the mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese, she wasn’t the biggest fan of. Overall, I would say the food was amazing. The design of the restaurant is easily one of our favorites to ever dine in. The interior design is so beautiful and enhances the dining experience. Oh!! And the birthday dessert was amazing! It was a cookies & cream ice cream scoop with three fried Oreos. It made me feel as if I was back home in Alabama for a second lol. We will definitely be back to dine again in the near future. Thank you Yardbird for helping make my girlfriend’s birthday one to remember!More infoYardbird Table & Bar - DallasPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Corridor•4.7
- MMarcus-AlanVIPDallas - Fort Worth •10 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Most of the food selection was superb including the mango Fritters, Gumbo, greens, corn bread and Texas Redfish. What was sub-par was the Lava Cake. We expect this cake to have a molten chocolate center and instead it had a solid core. The pairing of the chocolate cake and Lime ice cream was a contrast in tastes that did not work. However the cornbread was scrumptious, the gumbo was fabulous and the Red Fish was fantastic. When we don't have to reach for the pepper , we know the food is spiced well. We recommend everything but the Lava Cake.More infoRoots Southern TablePrice: Very Expensive• Southern• North Dallas•4.8
