Any doubts I may have had about trying this restaurant while visiting Louisville were immediately erased, even though that meant driving around an unfamiliar neighborhood without the benefit of coffee. I had the avocado toast, per our server’s recommendation, and my husband had the skillet. Both were delicious, and we intend to visit again the next time we’re in town. I also really enjoyed the African coffee. When in doubt, make reservations, especially if it is too inclement to sit outside. As we were leaving the hostess was on the phone explaining that all they had available was bar seating and that was first come, first serve.More infoMorning ForkPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.7

The service was amazing, the owner operator stopped in with us and chatted for a while and I love how they converted what seemed to be an older home into a restaurant. The food was amazing and I look forward to going back sometime soon in the future.More infoFork & BarrelPrice: Expensive• American• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.6

- GGinavipIndiana •60 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 20, 2024This was my first time at Doc Crow's. My friend and I came down from Indianapolis for a concert at the Yum Center. This restaurant is literally across the street from the venue, so it was super convenient. Everything we ate was delicious. We got the deviled egg appetizer and some oysters to start. Both very good. For my entree I got the Doc's Chicken. I was going back and forth on whether I wanted it original roasted or fried. I asked the server, and he said the fried is his favorite. Great recommendation. You always worry the chicken may be dried out. This chicken was so juicy. I loved it!! I got green beans as my side. They were very good. We had a great experience. I would love to come back the next time we are in town.More infoDoc Crow's Southern Smokehouse & Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown Louisville•4.4
