Best Sicilian Restaurants in Chula Vista / Bonita

We enjoyed Sofia very much. Very nicely set, kind service with knowledge and great food. My first assessment is how you are greeted upon arrival. Accommodating! Welcoming! Our waiter knew how to explain options, asked about any allergies.. he was great! We enjoyed the food very much. Started with Arancini - more tomato based rice yummy. Calamari was tender (breading could be lighter) and meatballs on the money! We tried several pastas and chic parm. Cacio a Pepe very delicious - just right amount of black pepper, gently stuffed w ricotta, rigatoni alla vodka very tasty - be aware it is spicy and pistachio pesto and spaghetti was excellent - finally chicken parm - I know it is not a traditional Italian dish but thin and nicely prepared. All in all - very good experience. Will be back!

This was a great place for a Valentines Day dinner. Our server was super fun and great at giving suggestions. Obviously a little pricey for some college kids but it was worth the amazing night and food ♥️🤗! Would recommend!

Valentines day was busy and serv8ce was delayed by 30 minutes but the food was worth the wait, can't wait to come back and try the regular menu

We haven’t been to San Diego for awhile, but lucked into a reservation on Valentines Day. I wondered if the restaurant could really be as good as all the glowing reviews. It was! Food and service were incredible. All four of us raved about our meals. The service was personal and the ambience was like a comfortable, cozy neighborhood restaurant. I only wish it was in our neighborhood rather than 800 miles away. But we won’t let the distance get in the way of returning. Thank you!

Let me start off by staying that the pasta is absolutely amazing! I had the PISTACHIOSA and it was delicious. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and every time the food is incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food.
