- LLeonaEdinburgh/Midlothian •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMe and my partner enjoyed every minute of Wildfire. From the cosy ambience we walked into, too the amazing food and the attentive care from the waitresses. The scallops and prawns were to dieeee for. And the steak. Well that is on another level. Probably the best steak my partner and I have ever had!! We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to a friend😍😍More infoWildfirePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Town•4.7
- SSusanEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Cafe Royal is one of Edinburgh’s classic Cafe/Pub/Restaurant which has maintained its stunning Victorian exterior and interior with a beautiful oval bar in other centre of the Café Pub area and stained glass windows in the Oyster Bar restaurant . We had a graduation dinner in the Oyster bar and all our food was excellent and something for everyone , especially those who are fond of shellfish .The steaks were cooked to perfection and the vegetable Thai green curry delicious . The service and atmosphere were also superb . The only problem was the temperature : it was a cold evening and most of us had to keep our coats on for the duration of the meal . However , this will not deter me from going again as the Café Royal is iconic and my family have celebrated many occasions here for generations .More infoCafe Royal - EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Continental• Edinburgh•4.4

We had Cullen skink and scallops for starter, both excellent but the Cullen skink in particular was exceptional Mussels and sea bass for main course again both dishes were amazing. - JJaniceArgyll •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had lunch with three friends today in Ardnamurchan. Four of us had the venison stew and one had the vegetarian option; stuffed hispi cabbage. Both dishes were excellent and the clean plates said it all. Three of us shared a bottle of Australian Shiraz which was pleasant but not quite as robust as we’d hoped for to complement the venison. Desserts were delicious; cranachan, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cremeaux and the cheese was enjoyed by one of our friends. As one friend is quite deaf we found the booth we sat in gave us reasonable privacy and he was able to hear the conversation easily. The girls who served us were great; friendly, pleasant and efficient. My husband and I always enjoy meals at Ardnamurchan and were happy to introduce friends to it.More infoArdnamurchanPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Glasgow•4.7
