- AAndreasVIPNew York City •32 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe went for a family dinner on a Monday night. Everyone was very happy with their seafood choices. The drinks were well done too. The place was fairly empty, so we got the right attention from the staff as well.More infoCrave Fishbar - UWSPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Upper West Side•4.6

My only issues are with the steaks. On 3 different occasions the meat was sub-par for a venue like this(to be fair, I complained twice and the situation was resolved immediately by managment). NY Strip should not have a tendon running through it. All other dishes were fine. Service was on point. Hostess very accommodating and pleasant. When not in a group, I do prefer to dine in the bar. Glad to have Haven as an option on River Road.More infoHAVEN Riverfront Restaurant and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Edgewater•4.7
- RRobertVIPNew York City •59 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDining at a restaurant is an experience with many components for me. First, there’s the decision to dine out rather than cook at home—a choice I don’t take lightly, as I consider myself a pretty good cook. Then comes selecting the right restaurant. Once I’ve made a reservation through OpenTable, I include special requests, such as seating preferences and hoping a favorite waiter will be working that night. I look forward to seeing if those details are acknowledged and fulfilled. From the moment I arrive, the experience begins: Am I greeted warmly by the receptionists, who seem genuinely happy to see me and eager to accommodate my requests? Is the maître d' cordial and welcoming? Is the waiter knowledgeable, personable, well-groomed, and engaging? A great waiter can make dining at their station a true pleasure, with a friendly demeanor and a smile that enhances the atmosphere. Then comes a key factor for me: pacing. When I order a cocktail—at Elea, a top-shelf gin cocktail costs $18 plus a $3 surcharge, plus tax and tip (over $50 for two drinks)—I want to savor it. Rushing me to order food detracts from the enjoyment of such a treat. Thankfully, Elea strikes the perfect balance, allowing guests to relax and enjoy each stage of the meal. Of course, the food itself is central. At Elea, the dishes are flavorful, portions are satisfying, and every course feels thoughtfully prepared. The bus staff are attentive without being intrusive, waiting until I’ve truly finished before clearing the table. Dessert is offered but never pushed—a subtle touch that speaks to the restaurant’s professionalism. Elea excels at making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable, leaving guests eager to return. Their team achieves their ultimate goal: creating an atmosphere so welcoming and well-executed that you look forward to coming back again and again.More infoEleaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Upper West Side•4.9

Service was terrific - Really professional and friendly, but steak although flavorful, didn't have the marble juicy of USDA Prime ..it was a bit dry, cream spinach wasn't hot and oddly some of it was undercooked ar $15.00. We'll go back and try more.More infoCatch N ChopPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Upper East Side•4.3
