- JJayshreevipSan Diego •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe LOVE this restaurant and have been here many times! They have excellent food and service. While we usually enjoy their seafood, today we had their Thanksgiving meal and it was very well made. The turkey was tender, the stuffing moist and flavorful, the cranberry sauce with just the right touch of citrus, the potatoes and turkey gravy the perfect tasty accompaniment. To start, there was a choice of clam chowder or organic greens. We all got the clam chowder and it was rich and wonderful! Dessert was a choice of pumpkin cheesecake or chocolate cake - both were good. We will never NOT recommend this place, it's the best!!More infoKing's Fish House - CarlsbadPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Carlsbad•4.6

- JJamieHawaii •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWow! I do not think I will be eating sushi anywhere else! This was so amazingly fresh, literally ALL of the fish melts like butter. The freshest of fresh! We started with the garlic edamame and Tuna Tostada, which was amazing. The garlic edamame sauce wash perfect. Then we ordered 4 rolls. I really loved the flavor of the Padre Roll, all protein, tons of fish....no skimping here. We also had the Del Mar, Yellowtail mania and King Salmon. All explosions of flavors. Was this way too much food for us and our daughter, yes....but we didn't care we wanted to try them all for our first time. We also found it cute that there was a heart post-it note on our table that said "Hi Jamie" when we got there. There was also a man singing some old school songs which was enjoyable! - NNataliavipSan Diego •21 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 19, 2024What can I say? This is easily one of the best happy hour spots in San Diego! The ambiance is stunning, the service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely incredible. We had yet another fantastic experience here, this time for an early dinner to celebrate my kid’s birthday. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the Japanese sweet potatoes are a must-try, the fish and chips were amazing—so fresh and moist—and the clam chowder was perfection. The smoked trout dip wasn’t my favorite this time, but it was still a solid appetizer. Our server, Mike, was exceptional—attentive, polite, and spot-on with his food recommendations. We’ll definitely be back, and if you’ve never been to this place, make a reservation now. You can thank me later!More infoIronside Fish & OysterPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Little Italy•4.4
