Best Seafood Restaurants in Bellwood

Our entire experience was great. We sat in a room we call the Presidents Room, because from the walls hang a picture of each US President. We had mushrooms as an appetizer. For dinner, we had the Kona filet with lump crab and asparagus, and loaded mashed potatoes. And we finished with cheesecake. The entire meal was fantastic, as was our server, Jackie. When I think of Carytown the first place that comes to mind is Can Can Brasserie. And like fine wine, it’s gotten better with age. From arrival to check we were made to feel like VIP. The drinks top tier, an extensive champagne list including vintages from 2000 and beyond. Even when ordering bread the food is always plated beautifully and creates an atmosphere all on its own. For brunch do the Quiche Du Jour and French Toast. And for Dinner you have to do the Scallops. Non-negotiable on that. They are life changing.

Staff was friendly and prompt, they went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. The rockfish and salmon entrees were perfectly cooked and the cocktails were phenomenal. The space was quiet and inviting, and never felt like we had to talk over the room ambience or other patrons. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The dinner was Outstanding and the Best Part was our Server, SAM!! He was so conscientious and funny..we loved him from the start! The Menu was excellent and the complimentary bubbly was all of an ounce (could have at least filled the glass a 1/4 full ;o)

First time we've been back since the COVID debacle where you had to order from a QR code and gratiouty was added. Not sure who decided that was a good idea, but they were wrong. Wife and I went for Valentine's Day dinner. Looked like it was reservation only, which made for a nice atmosphere without ton of people crowded around the hostess stand. Ambiance was great, as was the food and service. We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed all aspects of our meal. Boathouse at Sunday Park redeemed itself last night and we will be back.
