    First, kudos to our wait staff, who were pleasant, energetic, and efficient, on a major holiday when the restaurant was extremely busy. Food was excellent. Burrata & prosciutto is delish, and there was plenty for a table of four to share while enjoying cocktails. Pork shank is tender & tasty. Dover Sole was excellent, and deboned at table, as is proper. Pappardelle Bolognese is terrific, and a huge portion. Apple crostata & gelato wrapped up an excellent Christmas meal. We'll be back!

    Gibson's is one of my favorite restaurants of all times. We live in San Antonio but make it a point to make reservations when in Chicago, Because of the holidays, I scheduled reservations 3 months in advance. Service was superb, as always. I ordered the W.R.'s Chicago Cut and was very disappointed. The steak was cold and did not appear anywhere close to 22 oz. My son ordered a 7 oz Filet Mignon, and he was disappointed as it was very dry and overcooked. I know I could have said something at the table, but I didn't want to ruin the moment as we were having such a great time being together. The service was outstanding, and hope that next time it will be the same Gibson's experience.

    We had a wonderful dinner at Hugo’s and our server Madison was so friendly and helpful. The jumbo lump crab cake as the best crab cake I’ve ever had - it’s all crab and no filler. We loved everything we ordered and would highly recommend this place.

    We chose omakase at the counter. It was a nice, relaxed pace. I don't remember how many courses, but we were very happy at the end. Each bite was delicious. The Spanish mackerel was the winner. All of the fish was extremely fresh and delicate.
