- MMauraChicago / Illinois •36 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe used to go to Roy’s in Maui every year on our arrival night, and last year when we went to Honolulu for the first time, we tried Roy’s in Waikiki. It was great! Last night, we went back ( on our arrival night) and had an excellent meal. Our server Joshua was exceptional. We enjoyed talking to him, and he helped us decide on the delicious tiger prawns with crab ravioli. It went beautifully with an Aperture Sauvignon Blanc. He also brought out a lovely hamachi starter for us. We always love the excellent canoe sampler for two as a starter, so we also had that. The chocolate soufflé was amazing for dessert! Several other team members stopped by, including a woman who gave us great ideas for some things to do in Honolulu that not all tourists would know about. It was a perfect way to start our visit—great food, wine, and Hawaiian hospitality. Mahalo, Roy’s!More infoRoy's WaikikiPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6

Ambience was cute and it was open and airy, not too loud, perfect night. (Sangria, grapefruit martini both great and refreshing), scallop sliders omg, crab and avocado salad delicious, mahi tacos were perfect, Caesar salad too good)… we booked again for tomorrow because we know the meal will be perfect.More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Waikiki, HIPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.8

Hula Pie is a must. Can be easily shared by 3-4 people.More infoHula Grill - WaikikiPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.7
- PPamHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe sat in the large patio area outside. It was very pleasant, with balmy weather and light trade winds, and we liked the live music (a solo guitarist/singer). We ordered from the Happy Hour menu and the food and drinks were inexpensive. Even though the restaurant was busy we were served quickly. My friend ordered the local shrimp and chips and I had the tempura fish and chips. Our waitress brought us a small glass of Prosecco (no charge) before our meal arrived. The food was delicious and well prepared. The coating on the seafood was light and crispy (not greasy). The service was excellent. Shout outs to our pleasant and friendly waitress Mahina and to the host Kody. We liked the restaurant so much we came back for dessert the same evening after we attended a music event!More infoMerriman's HonoluluPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.8
- LLloydHawaii •4 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024The food presentation and taste was very good! The service was also good except the main course took a little longer than expected. They seemed to be short handed. I highly recommend Wai Olu!More infoWai'Olu Ocean CuisinePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Waikiki•4.7
