- AAlisonSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is our favorite restaurant and we always return for important celebratory events. Last night, every single food item we ordered was off the charts delicious. Nancy was a lovely waitress who was also enjoyable to chat with. The only wrinkle in our experience was that our table was not ready for us despite having a reservation, so we had to wait. But it is Valentine's Day weekend and was a busy evening at Cafe Cruz. We had a lovely evening and a fabulous meal!More infoCafe Cruz Rosticceria & BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Soquel•4.7
- SStevenSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food is excellent. Everything was well prepared. Service was excellent. One thing to note, the side dishes are enormous. You should either order a half or be prepared to split it with one or two other people. Another thing, if you order a glass of wine instead of a bottle have them bring it immediately. It is quite cold and it takes a while for a red to warm up to the point where it can be fully appreciated. The rack of lamb has 7 ribs. Be prepared to split it or take some home. Doggie bags were quite common. Another neat trick, their prepared drinks come with dry ice on the glass. It keeps the liquid cool but it does not dilute the flavor as it melts. One last thing. Be prepared for an expensive experience. Two of us with drinks, 2 glasses of wine, 2 half appetizers, 3 half sides and 2 main courses ended up with a bill over $550 including tip. Worth it for special occasions but a lot for any kind of regular thing.More infoMastro’s Steakhouse - Santa ClaraPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Santa Clara•4.6
- SSteveSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe hostess was extremely kind and accommodating and sat us inside when our reservation was for outdoor seating. It was pretty cold outside and the vibe was very quiet. They were extremely packed and managed to find us a great table for 2 inside where it was very energetic and fun. Great atmosphere! Our waiter was great, the food was exceptional and I would visit again. This was my first time dining at Forbes Mill. - JJeffreyCalifornia Central Coast •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSuper delicious seafood pasta. Rib dinner was huge and tasty. Good desserts too. Service was pretty good, a few delays here and there but it was a busy evening. Staff was super helpful, and when I called ahead, they gave me directions to parking and were patient with it. Not always the case these days! We would like to come again!More infoParadise Beach GrillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Capitola•4.5
