- KKevinVIPAtlanta •15 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis dining experience was a very special evening thanks to both Alana, the General Mgr., and Kathy Lee, our server and Regional Trainer. And, of course, the superior food preparation thanks to the Chef who, unfortunately, I did not catch his name. From the moment, we (two of us - business dinner) entered the restaurant to our departure, we were pampered with service and timely delicious food courses. The appetizers were tasty and fresh. The Onion Loaf was served fresh and warm by Kathy Lee. The Manhattan cocktail, a Morton' staple, was made perfectly and served appropriately. And the Rack of Ram was cooked perfectly and more than enough. Ditto for the Wagyu Short Rib entrée. This particular Rack of Lamb was probably the best prepared and tastiest one rack I have ever enjoyed. At the end, we had a very special dessert. Alana arranged to have prepared for us Morton's famous soufflés: we had two, a chocolate one and a Grand Marnier one. What made this special is that Morton's had discontinued offering these post-Covid. So, for Alana to have these prepared and for Kathy Lee to properly present, was memorable indeed. Finally, a special mention regarding Alana and Kathy Lee. They were two wonderful, friendly and attentive hospitality professionals. They both, combined with the Chefs' expertise, made for a wonderful and unforgettable evening. This definitely was the best Morton's dining experience we ever had - and I have been to many of them over the years. For sure, the next time we are in San Antonio, we are sure to visit.More infoMorton's The Steakhouse - San AntonioPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.4
