- CCreadellWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoSo far, this is the best meal I’ve had during my vacation in Puerto Rico. Great service, nice ambiance.More infoSantaellaPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• San Juan•4.8
- JJoshuaCaribbean •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoPedro was our server and he was great, going over all the ingredients in dishes we had questions on. The food was some of the best we've had in Puerto Rico and artistically displayed. Save room for some amazing desserts. Bring cash to tip your servers. As a former restaurant worker, this is highly appreciated by servers. The ambience is very nice and we had a great view in a corner table overlooking the golf course. Every person we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. Tip: if it's your first time staying at Rio Mar, (It was our first stay at Ocean Villas) you can grab a shuttle at the Lobby level floor, just outside the front doors. Returning shuttles stop at Iguanas every 10-15 minutes to bring you back. (Don't forget to tip your hard working shuttle drivers) Definitely worth a stop at this lovely restaurant if you're staying at Rio Mar.More infoIGUANAS COCINA PUERTORRIQUENA – Wyndham Rio MarPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.7
- AAlbertVIPPhiladelphia County •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt is evident why Cocina al Fondo and its chef received the James Beard Best Chef (South) award in 2023. This was a jewel of a restaurant built inside a renovated house with the kitchen in an adjacent shed, an indoor dining room with an accompanying garden for outdoor seating, and a knowledgeable and attentive staff. The food - Puerto Rican soul food taken up a notch with soothing and occasionally surprising flavors, well executed and balanced. Only open Thursdays through Saturdays. Well worth a visit.More infoCocina Al FondoPrice: Moderate• Puerto Rican• Condado•4.9

- JJoshNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 9, 2024I’ll keep this short and sweet. The food was excellent (pan fried red snapper as main course-order this, it was amazing). Restaurant was nice, hostess polite, etc… all the things you would expect. However, our server,Jose was phenomenal.!A polite gentleman, personable, knowledgeable about the dishes, good recommendations. I can’t share enough accolades about this guy. Caña, take notice and recognize him. He is the sole reason I am sharing this review with your prospective diners.More infoCAÑA - Fairmont El San Juan HotelPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Isla Verde / Carolina•4.3
