- HHelenLos Angeles •9 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024What a treat it was to spend my final night in NYC enjoying a fabulous meal at Altesi Madison. The service was great and the ambience, cozy. Charming, tasty thin bread sticks awaited me at the table, along with a tasty hummus-like dip. I started off the meal with Insulata Orto, a delicious and generous portion of shaved brussel sprouts, thinly sliced red apple, parmigiano, and pecans, tossed in a light, lemon-honey dressing. Being a fish lover, I had Grigliatadi Pesce for my entre, which included the most tender and delicous octopus I have ever had, along with lightly grilled shrimp, scallops, and cuttlefish. This feast left me too full for dessert. And the price was right-no more than a typical, good restaurant where I come from in L.A.More infoAltesi RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper East Side•4.8
