- CColinVIPDublin •16 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024First time back at the Oxo Tower for 20+ years and wasn’t disappointed. Great atmosphere and friendly service with fab views across the Thames to St Pauls. Food was good rather than exceptional, and the bread and nibbles came out with the starters. Nonetheless, a lovely evening enjoyed by the whole family.More infoOXO Tower BrasseriePrice: Very Expensive• British• Southbank•4.5
- RRobertoLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 22, 2024The atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming and the dinner we had was absolutely divine. We loved the manuscript menu of the day, something unusual but delightful. As a starter, I loved the poached skate salad with chicory and capers. Very tasteful. As a main, I choose a Guinea Fowl supreme with kale and turnips. Delicious and comforting for the winter season. For the dessert, I took the rice pudding with quince. I loved it although it is a “tour de force” to finish a meal with such a dessert. I must admit that the matching of both ingredients is really superb. The wine list is very interesting and I must say the prices, also for the menu, are really correct, specially in London were the prices tend to become very expensive. The waitress and the manager were very nice and relaxed, although the restaurant was very busy. We loved the place very much because it is very characterful and different from the general offer.More infoAndrew EdmundsPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Soho•4.7
- LLopaVIPLondon •68 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Enjoyed my food but did find the soup salty and the herb gnocchi a little unusual in flavour.. Not sure if would order again. Waitresses were interesting, one slightly stressed serving.. Who then forgot to bring me cutlery for my main course and the lady looking after us was a little too keen to get us out the door which is a shame as we were paying customers and no one said anything re a time limit on our table. Sad to say my experience overall was not great..More infoBrasserie Blanc - SouthbankPrice: Expensive• French• Southbank•4.5
- KKevinLondon •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 15, 2024My 3 guests (family and friend) had a nice dinner starting fairly early 7pm on a weekday following afternoon theatre. We shared starters including fish tacos and smoked salmon which were all tasty. Diverse mains of pork chop, bone-in sole and mushroom pie were also appreciated and amply portioned. There was a bit of a lull between the starters and mains but our waiter took noticed and followed up. A good and convenient place to dine when you are out on the South Bank.More infoSea Containers at Sea Containers LondonPrice: Expensive• British• Southbank•3.9
