Best Modern Australian Restaurants in Frankston

We caught up with old friends and had a very enjoyable evening at Waves. It was a very warm evening and we enjoyed sitting inside in air conditioned comfort. The food was excellent. They were very busy so understandably at one point a drink order appeared to have been forgotten apart from that staff were very nice & attentive. The hostess was very thoughtful adjusting the blind to protect our eyes from the sun. The view of the sunset over the pier and bay is spectacular. Parking is a bit of an issue as people park there to go to the beach & it’s paid parking but we found places after 7 pm. Highly recommend planning time to find a park.

Donovan’s = excellence! From the warm welcome, to the diverse menu, the delightful waiter skills of Isabella, and the most delicious food, this was the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s 95th birthday. Thanks to all at Donovan’s.

I love this place it’s always busy, has a great atmosphere and just up the road from home in SAB. The beer (strapper) is always yum plus the pizzas are the best on the peninsula. As it was 36 degrees, it was hot and the water on the table was warm…but the lady bought some ice over to cool our drinks down. Service is always great when you’re seated in a stall as you really don’t have to move and everything is done for you plus they constantly come over to check for drinks and stuff. Food comes out quickly and is always delicious. We were seated in the 1st stall, the LIVE music was awesome. I would ask next time to be seater a bit further away as sitting that close it was hard to hear each other talk. That’s the only thing I would say, being that hot I suppose it wasn’t too bad as I didn’t have to talk much lol.

The experience we had at Vue de Monde was exceptional! The food, the services, the ambiance just perfect. My daughter had her 21st birthday celebration there and we were invited to the kitchen tour, and she got the birthday card with the team members signatures on it, and the photo with whole team of chef! Absolutely outstanding experience and life time memories!

The choice of mains disappointed. Everything else was perfect
