Best Modern Australian Restaurants in Melbourne Airport

Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.

A very special night highlighted by a fantastic tasting menu of the highest quality. the service was impeccable - reliable & informative. the wines selected from the drinks menu were as described to us by the drinks person. the view from our table to the river outside added to the occasion. You pay for what you get - which is sensational food from Tasmania & Bass Strait.

Great local place. A bit of a hidden gem. Drink service was a little slow but overall it was a great place to eat and we will be back.

Celebrated another birthday dinner at Switch. Great company, delicious food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The chicken tacos were packed with flavour! The nutella donuts were nice, but way too much for one person. Perfect to share between 3 people.

A hidden gem at the airport. Quiet, classy, affordable and away from the hustle and bustle in the terminals. Great way to spend an hour or two if 'waiting to fly' or meeting perhaps a delayed traveller.
