- AAnnaDublin •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food is out of this world. We shared the vegetable Mezze and the mixed skewers, and enjoyed baklava and Znoud El-Sit for dessert. The quality and flavour of the food is excellent, the presentation beautiful. We were served our mezze quickly, and were given plenty of time to enjoy it before the hot food was served. We were disappointed that the Ayran was unavailable on the night, but there were plenty of other options. The Jallab drink was lovely, sweet and refreshing. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, and it was possible to hold a conversation without raising our voices despite a full house.More infoThe Cedar TreePrice: Expensive• Lebanese• Grafton Street•4.7

- AAhmadDublin •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025This has to be the best Middle Eastern food served by an actual Middle Eastern Restaurant. Often you see the cuisine offered in a multicultural restaurant but it’s always far off the real deal. Where as at Shaku Maku, we were served real authentic middle eastern food, (said by a Middle Eastern guy who struggled to find certain authentic dishes in Ireland including Jordanian’s). Of course some dishes had to be adapted to a wider audience including Irish people but it works and doesn’t change the dish too much, you can see it in how many Irish people were at the restaurant which is great. One down side is that the restaurant is far from where I live, but I’ll definitely be ordering in through Deliveroo. Prices are a bit high for what the actual dishes are (again coming from an Arabic guy who knows what those ingredients cost) but prices here are very similar to other places where they claim to be authentic, so I guess you are paying for good quality authentic food and for rarity. All the guys there were friendly and had nothing but smiles on their faces. Overall I’d highly recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.More infoShaku MakuPrice: Moderate• Middle Eastern• Rathmines•4.7
