Best Mediterranean Restaurants in North Reading

Excellent food, attentive top notch service and warm welcoming ambiance! We celebrated our dear friends graduation yesterday with an awesome experience.The food was just like we had in Greece last summer. Very authentic and so fresh and beautifully prepared. We will certainly be back when we are back on the north shore. :)

Service - Our server was cordial , attentive and patient. We wanted an evening to sit and chat. Perfect! Food - having been a fan of Ithaki for over 20 years - first in Ipsiwch now in Peabody, the food is always excellent, the preparation consisrent. What else can be said …good food, consistent quality and service, friendly staff. Love it!!

I think this is the best restaurant food in Boston right now, really outstanding. The wine program is exclusively Greek, the list is huge, the grape varieties unfamiliar and unpronounceable, but the waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant struggles to keep wines in stock; I ordered two bottles that were not available that night. The place is crowded and noisy, the patrons generally young and hip, lots of fun.

We had an amazing experience at Bar Vlaha last night. The place is charming, the food absolutely fabulous, waitstaff knowledgeable and helpful. We had the bread with three different spreads, each better than the next. The mushroom appetiser was spectacular. Entrees of lamb, and wild boar were amazing. An assortment of desserts was delightful. Could not have had a better night. We cannot wait to return.

Rocco's has a good selection of dishes and appetizers, and is affordable. Lots of townies seem to congregate to the bar also. I'd eat there again.
