Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Miami Shores

Dinner was great. Service was great. Everything we expected. I just wish had been given the option to be seated inside. We were sat in the patio area. Had a fan overhead was a little bit annoying and wife complained she was cold.  other than that a good experience but I can’t wait but to feel like the experience was not complete.

We had a marvellous time dining at Yaya. The patio was not available despite requesting sitting outdoors but the restaurant is beautiful, clean and the staff are very polished. The menu is delightful. So many wonderful choices. The Risotto with lobster was outstanding as was the Branzino. The zucchini & eggplant starter was also great. We will be back. Doya – A Must-Try for Greek & Turkish-Inspired Meze Recently dined at Doya, a fantastic spot that blends Greek and Turkish flavors with a menu designed for sharing. The restaurant specializes in both cold and hot meze, making it perfect for a communal dining experience. For cold meze, I highly recommend the traditional fava bean spread, eggplant (babaganoush), green goddess dip (similar to tzatziki), and shrimp carpaccio—all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Among the hot meze, we tried the rib steak over the wood-fired grill, which, while cooked well, needed a bit more seasoning. However, the grilled Dorado fish was outstanding—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We rarely order dessert, but the chocolate mousse with cherries was a standout and an absolute must-try. Service at Doya is team-oriented, delightful, and impressively quick. The food comes out fast, making for a seamless dining experience without feeling rushed. Overall, Doya delivers a wonderful dining experience, with a well-executed menu, great service, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore high-quality Mediterranean flavors in a shareable format.

Aba is a very enjoyable dining experience. Both indoor and outdoor areas are beautiful and very welcoming. I actually prefer sitting outdoor, but if it’s too hot indoor would be just fine. The last few times I was at Aba, Travis was our server, and he is terrific. He actually remembered what I drink- blew me away! And the food is delicious- among my favorites, crispy potatoes. The only dish I did not care for was hamachi. But I guess I should know better than ordering Japanese in Mediterranean restaurant. Overall- I recommend and will return!
