Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Kenwood

The visit was an Anniversary experience for my wife and I. Th meatballs, the salmon soup, and the sassy-rita were EXCEPTIONAL to say the least.

The food here is a fascinating eclectic version of Mediterranean food different from what we have had before. Sauces are especially good combining savory and sweet. The Tabouleh was delicious as were the Cypriot Lamb chops. Chubby pita a great vehicle for hummous , Muhammara and Smokey yogurt. we will be back to try all the other intriguing dishes on the menu.

Tarla is one of very best Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay Area. The traditional dips of Hummus, Baba Ganoush, and Tzatziki, are fantastic and they buy the highest quality pita and grill it so it is warm and delicious. All of their entrees are superb. Their grilled Branzino is perfect. My favorite thing is their Turkish meatballs that are grilled and served with fried potatoes and fried kale. To my mind this is the best way to eat kale. It is transformed into a delicious crispy crunch. The staff is very friendly and professional. The Chef is a woman who often circulates in the dining room. It is a wonderful dining experience. Full bar and excellent wine list.

Amazing dining experience for my husband's birthday. Daria was our server and was excellent. We loved her suggestions on the menu as well. We enjoyed the octopus (best I've ever had), lamb meatballs, Gigantes, Smelt, and the goat stew to finish. We were absolutely stuffed and definitely slept like babies! Everything was stunning. I've heard such wonderful things before coming here, and they had exceeded my expectations.

Food was great, quiet outside seating but warmed by heaters, unobtrusive and prompt service. Overall a five star experience on a holiday at a busy restaurant
