We arrived 10 minutes early for a reservation and were told that the table was not ready and that we could sit at the bar or in the velvet room. This is fine, as long as the host informs us as soon as the table is ready and we are able to transfer any drinks ordered to our final check. The host did not inform us when the table was ready and the restaurant required the drinks ordered in the velvet room to be paid separately from our final check.
