- RRandyvipSan Diego •39 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food at Tahona was some of the best I’ve had. Very carefully prepared, creative without being pretentious. Lots of authentic flavors, definitely not your typical Mexican food. They explain about the sourcing of the ingredients, and it was just an awesome experience. (The Pozole was the “hidden gem”, very different from anything I’ve ever had, and it was fantastic.)More infoTahona BarPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5

When more people showed up than we expected, the servers were really accommodating and moved more tables over for us. They even gave us separate checks. Everyone was so friendly, nice and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious. Our group will definitely be heading back!More infoPuesto Mission ValleyPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Mission Valley•4.6
- TTonyaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024We had a work winter gathering and had a great time. The hosts were accommodating to reserve the lounge room for our party. It was spacious enough to hold a few table games. The host was very attentive, kind and patient. We all enjoyed ourselves very much!!!More infoCocina de BarrioPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Hillcrest•4.7
- GGeraldSan Diego •24 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Maybe it’s because it was a Sunday but we waited about 20 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was about 25% full. Once seated, the service was good and four of the five dishes we ordered were very good and reasonably priced. Interesting food combinations but not the place to go to if you want a salad.More infoFlama LlamaPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Kearny Mesa•4.3
- JJohn PaulSan Diego •8 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Found this restaurant on OpenTable and was not disappointed. The ambiance is incredible and the food matches it perfectly. However, I think the service, at least our server in particular, was extremely helpful and that really made the whole experience that much better for us.More infoCamino RivieraPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• Little Italy•4.8
