Best Japanese Restaurants in Waipahu

First time dining since renos/ new ownership. Place looks great. Service was top tier , greeted & seated quickly , food so timely & ono. New look but still OG kunis food! 10/10 def will be back again soon (:

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. They recently got new management but thank goodness the menu is mostly unchanged. I love staples like the watercress salad and the miso eggplant. Please stock umeshu wine again! But really a great restaurant!

The ribs, butterfish, and chocolate soufflé are so good, we dined here twice. Thank you to Derrick, Malo, & Robin for your service. We definitely recommend this Roy’s location.

Wonderful new handroll restaurant tucked away behind Ward Theaters. But they're more than just handrolls- the hamachi carpaccio was excellent and they had a five piece nigiri sampler, which can be either raw or seared (we chose seared and loved it). Service is fantastic and sushi guy was friendly and helpful. They also have a full bar but I didn't check on sakes. There is valet parking ($6) or perhaps park for free at Whole Foods. $100 for two of us, and we were full.
