Best Italian Restaurants in Transcona

Showed up a bit early but our table was ready. Our waitress shelly was very on the ball, ensuring our first experience was great. Drink order was taken right away, food order was taken not long after. I’d recommend the bolognese sauce over the Alfredo but both were excellent. Couldn’t tell the difference between gluten free pasta and regular pasta which is impressive. Hour and 45 min time slot was more than enough for 2 people at peak hours. Will be returning to sample more of the menu!

Once again an evening to remember! Valentine's Day is a very important day in our "days of significance" and what better place to celebrate than at Vida Cucina. The 1st class atmosphere, wonderful waiter, and an outstanding selection of foods made the evening very enjoyable. Kudos to the wine expert who suggested a lovely bottle from the Piedmont area of Italy. Our 4th time there and we will be back!

Our service Linda (not sure if that’s the right name but she had red hair) was great. Even on a busy evening she managed to listen and keep up with our table and everyone else’s while keeping a good customer service attitude especially engaging in a conversation with my significant other too. Outstanding deserved every part of the tip I left. Food was great can’t expect anything more or less the wait time was a bit long for the appetizer but again Valentines is a busy night so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. Me and my significant other are definitely satisfied with how it turned out.

We made a reservation and asked for a specific table and were very pleased that Cibo accommodated our request. The ambiance is beautiful and we wanted a table to look out at the river. We were going to the theatre and were a bit pressed for time, our server was fantastic to ensure that our orders were expedited quickly and our food was served promptly, hot, and delicious!

Been eating their pizza for years. It never disappoints!
